Room Cooling Solutions (CRAC units)

High-end Computer Room Air Conditioning (CRAC) units, deliver precision maintenance of the temperature, air distribution and humidity in data centers. Unique features of TechXact offered CRAC units are robustness, reliability and full customization and built specific to every client / project in size, shape, dimension, capacity and modular expandability. Configurable in varied redundancy levels of N+1, 2N.

Data center resources provides above and below floor cooling solutions for the data center, computer room or network closet.

Large Computer Room Air Conditioning units (called CRAC units) are typically  configured as downflow models to send cool air into a raised floor system. However, if you do not have raised flooring, upflow models can send cool air directly to the room or distribute it through duct workportable and ceiling mount models can effectively cool small rooms or network closets.  These air-conditioners can be deployed very quickly and  inexpensively. They can be a simple solution to combat creeping temperatures due to warmer weather or growing systems.

Direct expantion closed control units with aircooled condensers:

For small / medium thermal loads  (max.  30 kW IT - load )
Redudancy only with complete doubled systems
Strong dehumidification  cause of low evaporationstemperature
Humidification and heating neccessary with high operation costs
Low invest, but high operating costs cause of energy and maintenance
Low invest, but high operating costs cause of energy and maintenance
No emergancy-cooling-operation possible in case of blackout

DX - Closed control units with free cooling exchanger and glycol cooler:

For medium für IT-load and single rooms up to ca. 80 kW
Bad for placing in the serverroom because of high effort in maintenance and service
Later extension (for increasing loads) not possible
Same else Direct expantion CCU relativ low invest, but also high operating costs because of stronger fans, circulatingpumps +  high effort in maintenance

Raised Floor Optimization:

It is a large expense to add additional air conditioning capacity to the data center.  With the increase in heat demands, it has become imperative to maximize the efficiency of your existing room air conditioning.  These relatively low cost and simple solutions which we offer can yield huge efficiency gains.  Count on data center resources to help you keep your cool.

Most data centers use perforated tiles to direct cool underflow air.  Higher density installations require a higher volume of cool air.  Hi-Flow tiles can supply more than double the cool air than traditional tiles.  Use in hot spots or in front of high density applications.
Consists of improvement products that allow you to move chilled data center air to precisely where it is needed the most, and remove heated exhaust air directly back to your Computer Room Air Conditioners (CRACs). This quick cooling fix is an excellent solution for removing hot spots without causing any downtime for your data center by easy replacing and swaping.

Tiles are constructed from heavy-gauge steel and engineered to fit any existing raised flooring system.  Simply remove current floor tile and replace it to deliver more than double the amount of cooled air to data center racks.  Position the tiles directly in front of racks that hot spots or in the entire cold aisle of your high density racks.
